Briefly describe what you do in your role:
I am responsible for inspiring the Team to perform at the highest level possible each and every day. We strive to provide excellent service and create memories that will last a lifetime. My approach is “hands On” and you might see me working alongside our Chefs in the kitchen, stocking the bar, welcoming & registering guests, assisting our housekeeping team, conversing with guests or even planting flowers in one of our gardens!
Professional background:
I’m currently the President and Managing Partner of the Boutique Inn Collection, a group of eight unique properties across the U.S. and the Caribbean. With a focus on independent boutique hotels and destination inns, I’ve spent my career building strong relationships within the travel industry—partnering with online travel companies, wholesalers, and agencies to stay ahead of trends and market shifts.
Prior to this role, I co-founded Access Hotels & Resorts, where I spent 16 years specializing in operations, accounting, renovations, and revenue management for full-service independent hotels across the country. Before that, I served as a Principal and Senior VP of Operations for The Melrose Hotel Corporation, leading brand development, acquisitions, rebranding, capital projects, and strategic planning.
I got my start in hospitality with Marriott in 1982 and spent a decade with a New England-based hotel group, working my way through various leadership positions. I hold a Bachelor of Science in Hospitality from Boston University.
